High standards of coaching
Having explored the activity of the most successful coaches and after conducting a range of experimental studies, the ECF developed a flexible and universal training approach for coaches of any area of expertise and applicable for work with any kind of clients. We call it the 3D Coaching Ⓡ CEC ECF, patent (EU) М 66 041. As the ECF training approach consists of three elements, it can be referred to as a “three dimensional coaching”.

Interacting with the client, the ECF coach:
1.1 Recognizes the guiding motives of the client (the client’s attitude towards coaching)
1.2 Is aware of the inner demands of the client
1.3 Identifies the style of the client
1.4 Forecasts the trend of the client’s behavior
1.5 Determines the core needs of the client
Environment
Interacting with the client, the ECF coach:
2.1 Defines the quality of the environment and its impact on the client
2.2 Recognizes the most appropriate environments for the client (supportive environment)
2.3 Develops a new environment (improved environment)
2.4 Demonstrates possibilities related to the modified environment
2.5 Is able to define the feasibility and relevance of creation of the environment
